PURPOSE:To light the circumference of a dial arrangement part without spoiling the external appearance by covering a dial with a light-transmittable panel and by diffusing and reflecting light from a light source in housing to the outside by a bevel at a reverse-surface peripheral edge part. CONSTITUTION:A dial is covered with a panel made of a light-transmittable member and at the reverse-surface peripheral edge part of this panel, a bevel is formed and painted; and a light source is arranged inside of the housing of a telephone set and its light is diffused and reflected by the said bevel to be guided out of the housing. For example, the internal peripheral surface of the reverse-surface periperhal edge part, projected in a frame shape, of a panel 2 equipped to the dial part of a push-button dial telephone set is slanted and slanting surface 7 is painted. At the circumferential part of the panel 2, four light source 9 are arranged, and each light is guided into the panel 2 and diffused and reflected by the slanting surface 7 to be guided from the circumference of dial buttons 3 to the outside, lighting each dial button 3. |
