PURPOSE:To reduce memory capacity to half by dividing a memory capable of storing minimum-two-field image signals into two field areas, and performing picture signal transfer from one area to the other during the transmission of picture signals. CONSTITUTION:A memory MM is provided with areas Mc and Me for oddnumbered and even-numbered fields. A control part CT judges which of fields are being displayed on a monitor VM, and then sends a picture signal out of the area Mc when the odd-numbered fields are diplayed and also stores the picture signal in the area Me. The control part CT supplied a signal for indicating whether an area to be stored at present is Mc or Me to a picture processor PRS, which sends picture signals of both the fields alternately according to the received signal, so they are supplied to the memory MM to store picture signals of the odd-numbered fields in the area Mc and image signals of the even-numbered fields in the area Me. |
