PURPOSE:To obtain a recorder of a small size having good light efficiency by the constitution wherein the light of plural pieces of longitudinally long light source arrays of which emission of light is controlled electrically is imaged with a light focusing glass fiber array and a cylindrical lens arranged like an array. CONSTITUTION:An optical system is constitutted of a light source 9 consisting of a linearly long lamp or an LED array, a plate-like electric field luminous body, or the like, an optical shutter array 1 consisting of a liquid crystal array or electrochromic element array, a light focusing fiber array 10, and a cylindrical lens 10. The light of the light source 9 passes through the array 1, and is imaged on a recording medium 8 via the array 10 and a cylindrical lens 7, whereby the images are recorded. Since the glass fiber array 10 is used as the light converging system, the recorder of a small size having good light efficiency is obtained. |
