PURPOSE:To improve the printing speed of a wire dot printer head by providing a rubber stopper of composite structure made of low repulsive elastic rubber and metal at the head. CONSTITUTION:A printing wire 2 is extruded through a clamper 1 by absorbing force produced when a solenoid 19 is energized, and is collided with a recording sheet. After the collision, the wire 2 and the clamper 1 are returned to the standby position by the recoiling force of a recoiling spring 3 and the returning moment of a fulcram retaining spring 8, and are collided with a rubber stoppr 16. The rebound of the clamper 1 after the returning is small by the absorption of the low repulsive elastic rubber of the stopper 16, and the clamper 1 and the wire 3 can be rapidly and steadily stopped at the standby position. When it is repeatedly driven continuously by high frequency wave, the heat produced in the rubber of the collided part can be, when the clamper 1 and the stopper 16 are collided with each other, dispersed rapidly through the metal plate contacted with the rubber due to its large thermal conductivity, and no local temperature rise occurs in the rubber. |
