PURPOSE:To reproduce a recorder picture with fidelity to an original by correcting a change in the properties of ink due to fluctuations of temperature and humidity, by correcting the readout color signal of a color reader on the basis of detection outputs for ambient temperature and humidity. CONSTITUTION:The detection signals of an ambient temperature detector 122 and an ambient humidity detector 124 are applied to the arithmetic circuit 126 of a chrominance signal correction control circuit 17. The color signal components of photosensors 110-122 of a color original reader are supplied to gain correcting circuits 119-121. Further, an output signal A which corresponds to the temperature and humidity detection signals is applied to MOSFETs 130-132 controlling the gains of the circuits 119-121. With the temperature and humidity detection signals of the detectors 122 and 124, amplification factors of the circuits 119-121 are controlled. The outputs of the circuits 119-121 are processed by a chrominance signal operator 133 to output drive signals for ink jet nozzles, thus reproducing a recorded picture having fidelity to an original. |
