PURPOSE:To facilitate construction and maintenance by providing a circuit, which has a function of transmitting a start signal to a maintenance station, to a specified channel of a PCM circuit and by sending alarm information to the maintenance station via the PCM circuit. CONSTITUTION:The specifying circuit CHC for alarm information transmission channel of an alarm sending circuit ALMSD actuates a control circuit DTIC for a terminator DTI and a branching and inserting circuit D/I to specify a channel over which alarm information is sent. Then, a start signal to a maintenance station which is not shown in the figure is sent from a signal transmitting and receiving circuit SIG via the circuit DTIC, and fault information is sent to the specified channel of the circuit PCML via a calling circuit TRK, a PCM modulator-demodulator CODEC, and the circuit D/I between the device DTI and a time-division switch network TDNW. Consequently, the alarm information is sent to the maintenance station via the PCM circuit. |
