PURPOSE:To shorten the computer processing time by storing a function data in a read-only memory in accordance with a discrete variable. CONSTITUTION:When a function data is required, a function value read-out program 12 receives a fact of being a sin data and being a variable (x) = 60 deg. with regard to its function, for instance, sin 60 deg., and converts it to the corresponding address 'OXYZ'. This address 'OXYZ' is stored temporarily in an index data register 13 by a write instruction, by which an address 'OXYZ' of a read-only memory 11 is designated. Subsequently, by a read-out instruction, a data '0.866025403' of sin 60 deg. stored in the designated address, namely, the address 'OXYZ' of the read-only memory 11 designated by the index data register 13 is read out. In such a way, the computer processing time can be shortened. |
