PURPOSE:To enable to give an alarm when a driver's license is mislaid and at the time of a burglary accident, by a method wherein a starting circuit and a horn circuit are connected in parallel to a power source, and a discrimination signal from a signal setting part for a driver's license is fed to a switch in the starting circuit. CONSTITUTION:The starting circuit A and a horn circuit 13 are connected in parallel to a power source 1, and the circuit are so constructed that the discrimination signal from the signal setting part 19 for the driver's license is fed to the switch 4 in the starting circuit A. When a case (not shown) with the proper driver's license is inserted into a case receptacle 20, a signal indicating the presence of the license and a signal indicating the conformity of code numbers are generated respectively by a photoelectric transducer 22 and a discriminating circuit 25, the signals are fed to the switch 4 to close it, and the engine can be started. On the other hand, when a stolen key is put in without presence of the proper driver's license, the switch 4 is kept open so that the engine can not be started, and since a control circuit 32 is not fed with the signal indicating the presence of the license, a switch 31 is closed and the circuit B is closed to give an alarm. When the driver's license is mislaid and the case is solely inserted, the engine is prevented from being started and a horn 29 is operated, in the same manner as above. |
