An artificial 'egg roll' is made using one cylindrical container to prepare a cylindrical core from sepd. egg yolks mixed and cooked to solidification, and another container to collect and cook an annular sleeve of egg whites around a core of cooked yolks. Pref. the sec. container is lined with a preliminary coating of egg white cooked to hardness before the yolk core and the bulk of the fluid egg whites are introduced. Opt. the container(s) are made of 'Teflon' (RTM -PTFE) and can be closed by one or two end caps to allow a coating of egg white to be distributed in situ by centrifuging. |
