<p>The vertical beams are spaced so that between them, and the panels fixed to them, are left spaces that can be filled with light material of high thermal insulation. The foundation of the building starts with a compacted base, then horizontal load carrying beams with a fibrocement plate and a load distribution mesh all enveloped in a bed of concrete which also serves as a base for the floor dressing. Exterior wall panels are very thin and may be composite wood or sheet steel while the inside panels are a combination of plaster board and plaster dressing.</p> |
