The process for creating music uses a series of chords - eight for example which may be called a harmonic series. A number of musical cells are then established, all of which are based on one of the chords of the series. The musical cells are arranged in a table so that all the cells in the same row are based on the same chord. Each cell may represent a bar of music, or a group of bars. The individual cells may then be selected, for example by a microprocessor in order to reproduce original music. Individual cells may be repeated, during the course of the music, and a number - for example three cells may be recalled at one time on three channels. The different rows of musical cells may provide different timbres for reproduction simultaneously. Playing of the instrument is possible without a high degree of skill, enabling its use for teaching purposes.
|
