<p>The mounting is for a guitar. It consists of three parts, a head with the string tensioners, the body or sleeve with a microphone cavity and the foot. The latter has the tailpiece and counterweight and several accessories. The three parts are connected by standard joints enabling head and feet to be chosen at will. Assembly is by adhesive resistant to ordinary shocks but gives way to a violent shock when held in a special holder. The body is a moulded tube.</p> |
