Support claw for windscreen wiper blade - has locating tooth for pivot control

The windscreen wiper blade assembly support claw has the claw (23) with a profiled tooth (51) on the inside to locate in a similarly shaped slot (52) on the rear of the blade assembly (16). The claw tooth and slot locate the blade longitudinally and prevent it from twisting on the windscreen. The tooth is moulded plastics forming part of the plastics liner of the claw. The slot is set across the back of the blade assembly, on is located in two separate sections each side of the blade assembly. The slot is V-shaped while the tooth outline curved to allow some flexibility in the support.
