PURPOSE:To liquefy boil-off gas again under a low pressure without any special re-liquefaction device, by providing, in the lower space of a bank, a secondary bank in which the boil-off gas fed from the upper gaseous phase through a compressor is condensed. CONSTITUTION:When compressor 20 is operated, the boil-off gas in gaseous phase 18 is fed into secondary tank 17 through gas duct 19. The secondary tank 17 opens downward to communicate to the inside of tank 12, and the boil-off gas fed into this tank is duly pressurized to a high level due to the head of liqualied gas 11. Consequently, the boil-off gas in the secondary tank 17 is to be quickly condensed into re-liquefied gas due to a low temperature of the liquid surrounding the secondary bank 17 and a high pressure together with the high saturation temperature in the secondary tank 17. |
