PURPOSE:To offer a water-disposing agent which inhibits generation of scales or contamination, by using as a component a copolymer comprising specified amounts of an aliphatic and/or aromatic vinyl sulfonic acid (salt), an unsaturated carboxylic acid (salt) and a nonionic vinyl monomer. CONSTITUTION:A water-disposing agent is prepared by the addition of a water- soluble copolymer (salt) A prepared from 1-60mol% aliphatic and/or aromatic vinyl sulfonic acid (salt), 99-40mol% unsaturated carboxylic acid (salt) and at least 15mol% nonionic vinyl monomer. The water-disposing agent is prepared by blending the copolymer A with a compound B selected from the group consisting of phosphoric compounds and multivalent metal salts. The mixing ratio of A to B is preferably 1-99wt%: 99-1wt%. |
