<p>Compression cylinder, of which the flexion is adjustable, comprising a casing (21, 22) rotating about a fixed bay (27), and which bears on a strut support (24) through balancing bearings (23). The bay (27) bears also on the strut support (24) by means of a spherical sleeve (8). The compression cylinder forms, in association with a counter cylinder (17), a compression area BL. In that area, there is provided between the bay (27) and the casing (21), a main supporting device (18) which transfers the supporting forces from the bay to the casing. The distance LE of the casing (21, 22) is equal to that of the counter cylinder (17). Consequently a good setting in the slot between the two cylinders (17 and 21) is achieved. The balancing bearing (23) and the spherical sleeve (8) are arranged concentrically with a cantilever part (24a) of the strut support (24) Outside of the compression area BL, additional supporting devices (15 and/or 16) may be provided. Whit those additional devices, it is possible to impart, according to the needs, and additional strain to the casing (21, 22). </p> |
