<p>A method of weighing articles including the steps of weighing each of the articles by a plurality of measuring apparatuses, adding the measured values of a number of measurements in combinations so as to calculate a total weight with respect to every combination, selecting the one combination designating the total weight equal to or nearest to a predetermined weight, and discharging the group of articles composing the one combination from the related measuring apparatus. The method makes it possible to weigh with an extremely high accuracy even if the weight of a single article to be measured is great, the distribution of the single article weights is broad, or the predetermined weight is relatively small compared with the single article weight. In addition, the measured value in each measuring apparatus is divided by the single article weight so as to convert it into the number of articles, so that the adding the converted numbers according to a combination similar to the above makes it possible to accurately count an arbitrary number of articles. </p> |
