<p>Means for sealing between two cover elements (1, 2) which are to be positioned in the same plane and be moved relatively to each other both in the plane of the elements and at right angles to the same. For the purpose of securing sealing between the elements even if one element should occupy a position slightly displaced relatively to the other element, and hereby safeguard against wear and/or too great stresses on packings, there is provided on each element (1, 2) along the side edge which faces the other element (2, 1) a beam (3, 4) which extends parallel to the plane of the element and may rotate about an axis (5) parallel to the side edge in question and under interposition of gaskets (8, 9, 12) is adapted to cooperate both with the beam carrying element and with the beam on the other element. </p> |
