<p>Tea bags, made of water-permeable, tea leaf-retaining material, contain a leaf tea filling mixed with 2-6g powdered vitamin C, i.e. ascorbic acid, per leaf tea quantity required to prepare 1 cup of tea. Vitamin C quantity for 1 cup of tea is pref. 60-300 wt.% w.r.t. leaf tea. The tea bag filling can further contain 10-20 wt.%, w.r.t. vitamin C, of powdered citric acid, to intensify the pleasant, acidic taste. Tea, contg. a health-promoting, refreshing and taste- enhancing component, is easily prepd. and contains sufficient vitamin C to supply at least the min. vitamin C quantity required per day.</p> |
