Large hose pipe fitting - has retainers of inner- and outer ring, to clamp reinforcing cords

The fitting has reinforcing layers of cords, and consists of a connection sleeve engaging over the hose end. A number of retainers, correspond to the number of reinforcing layers, and support themselves on the sleeve. Each retainer (10-13) consists of an inner ring (16) with partly cylindrical outer circumference, and an outer ring (17), of corresponding shape. The cords (2) of each reinforcing layer are placed between the rings. The diameter of each outer ring may be reduced, so that it may be pressed against the cords and the inner ring. All outer rings engage on each other, and are together supported on an abutment (14) in the connection sleeve (4).
