The valve has a valve tube, axially displaceable in a valve body by a drive element. One tube end carries a valve seat, the other end carries a seat edge, for alternate engagement on one or other sealing element. The drive element is formed as an actuating rod, and is fastened to the valve tube. The rod passes through the sealing element, coaxial to the longitudinal axis of the valve tube. The actuating rod is located within the valve tube interior, and engages on its inner surface via a collar.
