PURPOSE:To realize reconstitutin with a simple processing by detecting a bit error of a token by each transmitter and producing the token in keeping the state of line as it is when the bit error is transient and after a failed part is identified when the bit error is permanent. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter 10 in the slave state writes a data transmitted via an R line 11 to a reception control circuit 103 and transmits the data to the R line 11 through a transmission control circuit 104. When the transmitter 10 in the master state transmits a data to a specific device 10, a section SA of a transmission frome 13 is set to its address, and when identification is conducted, the section is set to ''OFFH'', the data is broadcast so as to transmit the frame 13 to transmit the frame 13 to the line 11 via a chageover switch 109 and the transmission control circuit 104. When the transmission is finished, the master transmitter uses a section CMD of the frame as TOKEN and transmits the frame to the line 11 via the circuit 104. The transmitter 10 receiving his token conducts master processing when the transmission data exists.
