<p>The fitting comprises one guide rail/thrust bar unit of set length, and a second one cut to the desired length to suit the window dimensions. The two units are securable together by coupling holes in the rail and bar ends of the second unit at its end towards the first one. In the working position, the hole in the bar of the second unit is always set back beyond the end of its respective guide rail. Before installation, the amount of movement possible in the second unit is extended beyond that available in use, so as to bring the holes in the guide rail and thrust bar into line with each other.</p> |
