PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of a fuel cell apparatus without increasing the size of the apparatus by making part of an exhaust gas sent from a fuel electrode to be mixed with an oxidation gas, whichis supplied to an oxidant electrode. CONSTITUTION:A route for an exhaust gas sent from a fuel electrode 2 divides into the following two routes: one route leads through a valve 11 and a condenser 12 to an oxidation device 7; the other route leads through a valve 13 to an exhaust gas treatment system. In the condenser 12, part of an exhaust gas 6 sent through the valve and supplied to the oxidation device 7 is cooled by means of an oxidation gas 8, and steam contained in the exhaust gas is condensed and removed. The exhaust gas 6 supplied to the oxidation device 7 is mixed with the oxidation gas 8 to make a mixture gas 9, which is supplied to an oxidant electrode 3. |
