A device for hardening casting moulds comprises a heating element (1) mounted inside a casing and connected to a power source. The casing consists of a bush (2) and a tube (3) which is axially movable in relation to the latter and may be fixed with one of its ends, whereas another end of the tube is provided with a conic cap (4) which carries a heating element (1) The device may be most preferably used for hardening casting moulds and cores of self-hardening liquid compounds.
