An oxygen scavenger for aqueous mediums comprises a hydrazine-free solution of hydroquinone and mu-amine. A method of reducing the amount of oxygen in an oxygen containing aqueous medium is carried out by using this solution. Examples for mu-amines are methoxypropylamine and aminomethylpropanol. |
