<p>The invention is directed towards an improved sealing solution and in particular anti-graffiti solutions. The solution is formed by combining a suitable polyvinyl alcohol with a solution or emulsion of acrylic resin to form a partially cross-linked shared polyvinyl alcohol/acrylic resin, catalyzed by exposure to heat and/or light. The properties of the solution are enhanced by the addition of a zinc complex solution containing zinc tetramine and/or an aldehyde donor such as formaldehyde or glyoxal.</p> |
