PURPOSE:To obtain an interface which is able to transfer at a high speed and has a high resistance against an electrical noise, by using an optical fiber cable, in an interface circuit of a magnetic memory device and its higher rank control device. CONSTITUTION:A higher rank logical controlling circuit 20 in a higher rank control device 10, and a logical control device 50 in a magnetic memory device 40 are coupled optically and logically through optical signal sending and receiving circuits 30, 30' by optical fiber cables SW, SR, respectively. As for the optical signal sending and receiving circuit, its sending part S is constituted by connecting a light emission element to a light source driving circuit, and its receiving part R is constituted by connecting a photodetecting element to an electronic logical gate logical circuit. As for this interface circuit, a pair of optical fiber cables consisting of one sending cable and one receiving cable each are used, and an interface control of the magnetic memory device is executed by only one series signal line. |
