PURPOSE:To avoid the leakage of sound and to increase the accuracy in specific oscillation number, by cutting a number of grooves having depth corresponding to the slit length of tuning fork on a material plate of an oscillator and separating tuning fork sections through narrow grooves cut on the extension of the grooves. CONSTITUTION:Cutting grooves 5 are given to the specified depth of the branch base to a quartz plate 4 through a wire saw stretched with an accurate pitch in advance as the first process. Then, as the 2nd process, each tuning fork is cut off to make the shape by giving finer cut-in grooves 6 to the quartz plate 4 on the extension of every other grooves. For the cut-off, finer wire saw, blade saw, diamond saw or diamond cutter is used. For the 1st process, a blade saw stretched the blade having the same size accurately can be used. |
