PURPOSE:To enable the minute observation of raising condition with a simple mechanism employing a small quantity of raising wire cloth and fabric by a exclusive raising tester capable of measuring the revolving rate of rollers, torque and fabric feeding rate. CONSTITUTION:Counter pile rollers are formed by winding a raising wire cloth having needles inclined in the direction of running of a fabric on rollers 1 and 3 of 100-300mm. long and 60mm. in diameter. Pile rollers are formed by winding a raising wire cloth having needles inclined opposite to the direction of running of a fabric on rollers 2 and 4. The rollers 1-4 are supported rotatably and in overhung fashion in bearings 7 and 8. The positional relationship between the rollers 1-4 is adjustable so as to make a fabric to be in contact with the raising rollers through an angle of theta. Before and after the group of the raising rollers, guide rollers 9, fabric feed rolles 10 and 11 and a fabric tension regulating device 12 are provided. Each raising roller is driven by a motor 13 through a transmission and a clutch 14. The direction of rotation and the revolving rate of the four raising rollers 1-4 may be selectively determined. |
