PURPOSE:To accelerate image formation and to obtain colors without turbidity and sufficient density, by using a specified substituted 1-phenyl-3-pyrazolidinone developing solution. CONSTITUTION:A developing solution containing a compound represented by the right shown general formula is used. In the formula, R is H or a hydrolyzable group; R1 is H, OH; R2, R3, R4 are each H, OH, 1-3C alkyl, 1-3C alkoxy, phenyl, -NHSO2R5, -O(CH2)nOR5, -(CH2)nOR6, -O(CH2)nC6H5, -(CH2)nR7, or -O(CH2)nR7, R7 being -NHSO2R5 or -SO2NHR5, R5 being H or 1-3C alkyl, R6 being H, methyl, n being 1 or 2; but R2 is a substituted group except H. |
