PURPOSE:To prevent that the light is reflected on the drivers side, to arrange a transparent plate nearly in parallel to a display plate, to make meters flat and to miniaturize and make light-weighed by providing numerous light shielding parts on the front face of a display plate and by limiting the light angle of the light source passing through the light shielding parts. CONSTITUTION:The rectangular body shaped photosensitive resin 6, for instance, making numerous light shielding parts which are provided nearly in parallel to the vertical direction is fixed on the side of the transparent plate 4 of transparent film 7 at the front face of a display plate 10. In this case the light shielding angle beta can be set at about 45 deg. by making the thickness F of the photosensitive resin 6 in about 0.15mm and the light emitted from a lamp 8 is not reflected and the reflection of the display plate 10 on the side glass can be prevented. Further the reflection plate for preventing the light to reflect on the side glass can be abolished and a meter 1 can be flattened and light- weighed.
