PURPOSE:To carry out a dichromatic copying in many sheets, by forming two different types of toner images having different polarities on an electrostatic photoreceptor, giving an AC electrification on the surface of a rotor having the surface formed with a dielectric substance plus a backed conductive layer and then transporting the transfer paper between the rotor and the photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:Two different types of toner images having different polarities are formed on the surface of an electrostatic photoreceptor 1, and an endless belt type rotor 30 is provided opposite to the photoreceptor 1. The rotor 30 has a dielectric substance 30a provided on a conductive layer 30b. Electric charge is applied on the layer 30a by an AC charger 32, and then a transfer paper S is transported between the rotor 30 and the photoreceptor 1 to ensure transcription of the toner picture. As no conventional corona discharger is used during the transcription, a number of copying sheets is possible with the first produced latent image. |
