A tile manufacturing apparatus for continuously manufacturing tiles which differ in shape by continuously supplying materials such as cement, mortar or the like to molds being transported on conveying means, molding the materials into a predetermined shape and cutting the molded materials. The materials are supplied to the molds by a roller having a varying diameter and an outer peripheral body axially varying in height. Means are attached to the roller for regulating the supply of the materials in such a manner as to provide a uniform material density regardless of the different peripheral speeds of the respective positions on the outer peripheral body of the roller. It is possible, therefore, to prevent variances in the manufactured tiles owing to non-uniform material density. After the roller forms the intermediate product, the latter is cut into tile units. The apparatus then presses a draining barrier on the tile units and cuts the opposing corners of the intermediate product so as to provide the finished tiles. |
