PURPOSE:To reduce the number of turns for absorption of sag to improve the performance of winding-up, by constituting a down coiler so that a guide for guiding a strip goes away from a coil more early than a wrapper roll. CONSTITUTION:The guide groove of a guide material 22 is shifted inside from a radius R1 by S1, and the guide groove of a guide material 20 is shifted outside from a radius R2 by delta2, and both guide grooves come closer to radiuses R1 and R2 according as going toward the left. Consequently, the speed of backward movement of guides 18 and 23 is higher than that of a wrapper roll 26, and these speeds are selected optionally by setting delta1 and delta2 to proper values. Thus, a wrapper frame, the wrapper roll, and guides are provided in the lower stream than those of the conventional constitution, and therefore, an angle made by a wrapper roll in the upper stream side and the wrapper roll in the lower stream side is reduced considerably, and the sag of the strip is reduced, and the performance of winding-up is improved. |
