FORMING METHOD OF GEAR WITH SHAFT

PURPOSE:To produce efficiently the gear with shaft having excellent strength by forming the external tooth gear by passing through the tooth shape part inside the holder the bulging part formed by performing upsetting by the punch to fit both end parts of the round bar shaped billet which is located inside the cylindrical holder. CONSTITUTION:The gear cutting part 2' of large diameter having the necessary volume on the intermediate part of a round bar billet 2 is formed with bulging by upsetting the round bar billet 2 with compressing in axial direction by the punch 9 for bulging and punches 6, 7. The gear cutting part 2' is then passed through the block 8 for tooth shape forming by pressing the round bar billet 2 downward with the descent of the punch 7 simultaneously with the descent of the punch 6 on the upper side and punch 9 for bulging. The prescribed gear is then formed on the bear cutting part 2' by the inner tooth shape 8a which is formed on the inner peripheral part of the block 8 for tooth shape forming. The gear with shaft can thus be produced efficiently.
