<p>The animal-feeding equipment is partic. for sheep, and comprises a fence assembly, one part of which, with bars (7), is movable towards a block of fodder, e.g. silage (3), behind it. This part of the fence has support feet (4) bearing against the fodder and holding it clear of the latter. Thus the animals can pass their heads between the bars in order to reach the fodder, and as they eat it away the pressure they exert moves the fence towards it. The assembly can enclose a rectangular space accommodating the block of fodder, having two opposite fixed sections and two others which can be moved inwards towards it.</p> |
