The anchoring assembly is for use as an intermediate anchor of a pre-stressing component used in an adhesion-less structure extending over more than two supporting points, and above the intermediate supporting points, and comprises two identical anchors extending in opposite directions. It incorporates a thrust mechanism (11-16), which can be screwed inwards far enough to allow space for the fitting of anchoring wedges, and then screwed out again so as to drive the wedges into the anchors and hold them there under pressure.
