<p>PURPOSE:To largely shorten the period of construction of a double shell tank, by floating a inner tank on the water surface of outer tank filled with water and by taking it down gradually, after the outer tank are constructed in parallel. CONSTITUTION:The inner tank 3 is constructed in parallel with an outer tank on the fundamental ground 1 in the position separated properly from the outer tank 2, as well as the outer tank 2 is constructed in the fundamental ground 1. After the construction of both outer and inner tanks are completed, the inside of outer tank 2 is kept in the condition filled with water 4. The inner tank 3 floated on the surface of water 4 is supported by the outer tank 2, taken down gradually by drawing out the water 4, and installed in the fixed position inside of the outer tank 2. Therefore, the period of construction of double shell tank can largely be shortened.</p> |
