PURPOSE:To prevent the locking or breaker operation of an air conditioner upon simultaneous starting of the air conditioners by inhibiting the start of a compressor for the prescribed period when a commercial power voltage drops lower than the prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:When the output of a voltage drop detecting circuit 3 for detecting the voltage drop for the prescribed period or the stop command from a controlling circuit 1 is applied to a memory circuit 8, the latter is set, the output Q' becomes L, the memory circuit is thus reset by the output of a timer circuit 7 after the prescribed period is elapsed, and the output Q' is returned to H. An AND gate 10 starts a compressor 5 under the AND conditions of the H of the output Q'of the memory circuit 8 and the operation command H from the controlling circuit 1. In this manner, the simultaneous starting of the large capacity air conditioners can be prevented, and the locking or breaker operation of the air conditioners upon simultaneous starting of the air conditions can be prevented. |
