PURPOSE:To lower the cost without degrading operability in a usage entailing turning on a power source only at the time of use by providing heater elements having self-temp. controllability, and a power feeder having the electrodes to be put in contact whth these heater elements. CONSTITUTION:Among a pair of fixing rollers 10 provided in a position from the transfer device of the body of an electrophotographic apparatus up to its paper discharge part, the outside circumference of the upper heat roller 11 supported to a bearing 11a fitted to the body is formed of a metallic pipe 12 of good heat conductivity having about 2-3mm. thicknesses. Plural heater elements 16 which consist of barium titanate having insulation characteristic and have self-temp. controllability are stuck on the inside circumference thereof. Ringlike electrodes 17, 18 which are a part of a power feeder are allowed to contact with both ends of said elements 16. According to such constitution, the operator's waiting time is less, the operativity is improved and the cost is reduced in the usage entailing turning on a power source only at the use. |
