PURPOSE:To make the deposits on the film conveying rollers of an automatic developing machine cleanable at considerably reduced labor and time without the need for taking out a rack by passing a specific cleaning sheet in place of a film in the developing machine. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning sheet 28 or the like which consists of a leader film 28b of polyester, polyethylene or the like in the longitudinal end part of a sponge sheet 28a made of a foamed material such as chloroprene rubber or vinyl chloride, is equivalent or slightly narrow in width to or than the length of the conveying rollers of the developing machine and longer in total length than spacings between respective rollers is made. The sheet 28a is passed through the lead-in rollers from the lead-in port of a developing thank in place of a film and those stuck on the surfaces of the respective conveying rollers of the developing tank are cleaned by this sheet, which is then squeezed of the developing soln. by the squeeze rollers in the developing tank, and further it is fed into a fixing tank where it cleans the rollers of the fixing tank. If necessary, the sheet 28 is passed reveral times repeatedly, whereby the rollers are cleaned automatically without removing the racks. |
