<p>The invention provides a live feline infectious peritonitis vaccine comprising an amount of live feline infectious peritonitis virus capable of inducing immunity in animals of the genus Felis, family felidae against feline infectious peritonitis without serious side effects and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The vaccine can be prepared by a process which comprises propagating susceptible feline cells infected with feline infectious peritonitis virus at a physiological temperature, harvesting the resulting viral material and mixing it with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. </p> |
