摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide a cleaning function part compact in the structure and having a sufficient resistance against a high speed rotation by imparting the gripping device with the cleaning function to clean a gripped material. CONSTITUTION:The gripping device 10 comprises a chuck body 12 and a plurality of chuck pawls 16 planted in the outward part of the body 12. A work or gripped material 28 transferred by a transfer means such as a robot hand 30 is gripped by thus constructed gripping device 10. A compressed air is supplied from a compressed air source 40 and injected toward the chuck pawls 16 through an air passage 18 in the body 12 and an air injection hole 24 of an air injection pipe 20, and along the end surface of the gripped material 28. The injected air stream having cleaned the end surface of the gripped material 28 and the chuck pawls 16 cleans simultaneously the outer periphral surface of the gripped material 28. Thus, it is possible to provide the cleaning function part compact in the structure and having a sufficient resistance against a high speed rotation.</p>
