PURPOSE:To inhibit the movement of toner and make an image quality constant by allowing a transferring and separating belt consisting of a dielectric material to contact with the surface of a photoreceptor by pressure and performing transferring and charging from the rear surface of the dielectric material, in an electrophotographic apparatus which has a transfer precharging means and permits color photographing of two colors. CONSTITUTION:The transer device is constituted of a transfer precharging unit 7 which aligns the toner having dissimilar polarities stuck on the surface of a photoreceptor 1 to one polarity, and a transferring and separating belt 8 formed of a dielectric material such as ''Mylar '' having 50-200mum thicknesses, etc. The belt 8 is put on plural pulleys 81 in a manner so as to contact with the surface of the photoreceptor 1 by pressure in the transfer position and to move in the same direction as that thereof at the same speed. Further, a charger 83 for charging belt for the purpose of allowing transfer paper P to closely contact with the surface of the belt 8, a transfer charger 82 for the purpose of transferring on the transfer paper P, etc. are provided around the same. Therefore, mechanical press-fixing force acts upon the transfer paper P and the toner, whereby the transfer is accomplished perfectly and the image quality is made constant. |
