PURPOSE:To easily and quickly retrieve an image by moving the image in X-Y directions in order to align a selected part of the image to the optical axis of a high magnification projecting optical system and changing over a low magnification projecting optical system to the high magnificating projection optical system. CONSTITUTION:A one frame projecting system 4 for projecting the image of one frame of a microfiche F on a screen 2 is provided in a body 1. An entire surface projecting system 3 consists of the 1st lighting device 5 for entire surface projection and an entire surface projecting lens 6 of low magnifiying power disposed above this. On the other hand, the system 4 consists of the 2nd lighting device 10 and a one frame projecting lens 11 of high macro-magnifications. The optical axis of the lens 11 is in alignment to the optical axis of the lens 6. A fiche carrier 13 is moved in X-Y directions by an X-Y direction moving device 17, and is disposed on the optical axis of either the system 3 or the system 4, whereby the retrieval is accomplished quickly and easily. |
