PURPOSE:To obtain an orinted product of high quality, high magnification and high accuracy by means of a simple apparatus, by a method wherein both sides of film are pinched between a pair of pulleys and belts engaged therewith, and the film is guided in alignment with the rotational loci of the pulleys so as to spread out. CONSTITUTION:Orienting pulleys 1 and 1' arranged on both sides at a given interval and the right and left orienting belts 2 and 2' engaged with the respective pulleys in the range less than a half circumference of each pulley are used to constitute an orienting mechanism. With both sides of a film A to be oriented being grasped between the respective pulleys 1 and 1' and the respective belts 2 and 2', both pulleys 1 and 1' are rotated in the opposite directions to each other in order to guide the film in alignment with their rotational loci spreading out from each other. Thereby, the film A is oriented. |
