PURPOSE:To prevent wall surfaces from being deformed after an expanding process is finished, by a method wherein a component part to constitute a passage resistance to an expandable heat insulating material is fitted to a wall surface on one side, while a reinforcing plate is provided for a wall surface on the other side, and air bubbles generated in the insulating material during a foaming process are caused to remain between the insulating material and the reinforcing plate. CONSTITUTION:An inner box 2 fitted with a cooler 7 on its outside peripheral walls and with the component part 9 on the wall surface 2a on one side thereof is connected by an ornamental frame 4 to an outer box 3 which is provided with the reinforcing plate 10 closely contacted to a wall surface 3a thereof. An expandable liquid is poured into the space 5 formed between the boxes 2, 3 through a pouring hole 13. The liquid foames through expansion under the heating effect of heated jigs 11, 12 and the component part 9 constitutes a flow resistance to the expandable insulating material 6 thus foaming. The air bubbles generated in the material 6 is not completely discharged and they remain as an air collection 16 between the material 6 and the reinforcing plate 10. The deformation of the wall surface 3a accompanied by the change of volume of the air bubbles which are contracted due to the lowering of the temperature can be prevented by the reinforcing plate 10. |
