<p>1. Internal combustion engine with an injection pumps arrangement, characterized by the combination of the following features : a) an engine housing part (2) receiving the crankshaft (4) is constructed to be extended with respect to a cylinder-supporting frame (1) of the internal combustion engine, b) on the overlying part there is secured an injection pumps arrangement (3), c) the injection pumps arrangement (3) has an injection pumps carrier housing consisting of a lower housing part (5) and an upper housing part (6), d) the lower housing part (5) is constructed as a bearing support for a cam shaft (9) with drive gear (7), and as a supporting frame for the upper housing part (6), e) the upper housing part (6) is constructed as a carrier of several injection pumps (10) arranged in at least one plane radially in V-or VV-shape round the cam shaft (9), and as a cover part, f) the cam shaft (9) is directly coupled drivingly by means of its drive gear (7) to a gear (11) which is disposed inside the extended area of the engine housing part (2) on the crankshaft (4).</p> |
