PURPOSE:To record characters, numericals, codes, symbols, etc. on a recording paper, by installing the second exposure means comprising optical fibers having a lens effect, and a semiconductor light-emitting device array in the latter step of the exposure process of a plain paper copying machine. CONSTITUTION:The second exposure means comprising optical fibers 20 having a lens effect and the array 21 of a semiconductor laser or a semiconductor light- emitting device is provided, for example, in the latter step of a plain paper copying machine, and optical information formed by cobtrolling said exposure means in accordance with the elements to be recorded, such as characters, numericals, codes, or symbols, and emitting light with a proper drive circuit is led through the optical fibers 20 to a photoreceptor 7 as a spot light source to expose it, thus permitting characters, numericals, codes, symbols, etc. to be recorded on a plain paper, and an unexpensive small-sized copying machine to have functions of the terminal device of a facsimile computer and an electronic printer. |
